Aspen resurfaces in San Diego. She heads to her home to find her roommate gone over-seas and someone moved sub-letting her room. She tries to reach Captian Matthews, but can't track him down, She heads to her room to change her clothes and began packing her clothes. Coulcinman Thalassar is trying to rally the people of Muria to responde to the agggression of the Humans, for their attack and destruction of the city of Saba. Aspen goes to find Chance and interrupts him while he was in the shower. Chance tells her about Admiral Maylander's attack on the city of Saba. He tells her about the army's high tech equipment designed to defeat the Blues. They eat at a local diner when Aspen decides that they should go look for her father first. Chance flashes keys at Aspen and they take off.
